Terms of Service

The following terms of service represent our mutual understanding for all orders between the buyer “you”, and Fun-Fur-All, the seller. By making the first payment the buyer agrees to the following terms of service.

Ordering

You must be over the age of 19 to enter an agreement with the seller. We always encourage parents/legal guardians to contact us directly for further information.

You understand you are ordering a hand-made one-of-a-kind costume made by an artist. The costume can potentially contain imperfections, flaws, or inconsistencies, although we do our absolute best to ensure that the level of quality meets or exceeds your expectations.

Your commission must be accepted, and the down payment received, before we start work on your project.

To be accepted as a commissioner you must complete our Fun-Fur-All quote form and submit an appropriate reference sheet. Email correspondence must be established, and the quote given must be agreed upon in writing. Once you are contacted you have seven business days to respond and accept, or we will move to the next client in line. After we receive your 50% NON-REFUNDABLE down payment, we will begin gathering appropriate materials and start your build. Payment plans can be negotiated for the remainder of the commission fee, and an agreement made beforehand, with the terms clearly communicated to us. The balance outstanding along with shipping fees (which are calculated at the end of the project) are required before the product is delivered.

Payment

All prices are in Canadian funds. We accept PayPal or email money transfers from Canadian banks.

Colours and Approvals

Fur colour approval will be finalized prior to the build. Swatches of fur options will be purchased, if needed, to ensure a close fit with the character. Keep in mind that some fur colours and/or fur length options are not always obtainable. We will provide the best options available for you to approve in your project.

Sizing

We require a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) for all full body fursuits (padded or not). There are many good tutorials available on YouTube. Mark your DTD where your elbows, waist, hips, and knees are, so ensure accuracy of measurements. Please inform us how you would like your costume to fit. A snug fit will be somewhat restrictive, and a looser fit allows more flexibility. You are responsible for completing and mailing out the DTD in a timely manner. We will not be accountable for a poor fitting costume due to incorrect measurements taken from the dummy.

Progress Updates

Work in progress may be posted regularly to social media unless otherwise stated by the client. If we have any questions regarding the build, we will contact you directly.

Timeline

Completion time frames will be established between the client and Fun-Fur-All, and may vary depending on the complexity of the design and size of the build. We reserve the right to extend the completion date as needed.

Refunds

There is no refund on the initial 50% down payment. If the costume is in the works and the client decides to cancel the project, production will cease, and no more money will exchange hands. Once the costume is completed and the final payment made, there is no refund.

Shipping

Shipping fees are calculated at the end of the build to ensure a fair price. Weight, size of the box and shipping options all play into the cost. All shipping options will be provided, and the client must agree on which option best suits their needs. Products are shipped out via Canada Post. Tracking numbers and insurance will be provided. Once the parcel has left Canada, we have no control over when the package arrives. We do not cover any additional custom’s fees that your country may place on the parcel.

Repairs

Wear and tear can happen. If during the first 60 days in your care, there are any minor concerns with the costume, such as popped seams or glue coming loose, etc., we will be more than happy to repair it free of charge. The client will be responsible for shipping the item to and from our shop for repairs.

Please remember that this is a wearable piece of art, rough housing and horseplay will expedite wear and shorten the life of the costume.

Major repairs/modifications are assessed individually, and a quote for repairs will be issued. The cost of shipping to and from our shop is the responsibility of the client. Please email us with further questions.

Any alterations to your costume that are not made by us, void all free future repairs.

Please make sure the fursuit is clean prior to returning it for any repairs, failure to do so, will result in a $150 cleaning fee.

Disclaimer

Wearing a fursuit can be challenging. Please ensure you are aware of the potential risks prior to placing an order. We are not responsible for any injuries (e.g. overheating, tripping, falling, mass hugging, etc.) that may occur while in costume. Your vision will be limited. You will get hot, and your breathing will be slightly impaired. Be mindful of these limitations. Take frequent breaks to cool down, and stay well hydrated.
