Fursuit Reference Sheets — Starting at $200 CAD

Step 1: Reference Art

The best way to communicate what you want is through art. We require proper reference art providing two to three clear views of your character design from different perspectives. You must submit the reference art with your request for a quote.

Step 2: Submit a Quote (When Open)

We open for commissions a few times a year, and it is announced via our social media – Twitter (X), BlueSky, and our Telegram Announcement Channel. When we open, a link to a Google form will go live for approximately a week. Submitting a form does not guarantee you a spot in our queue. We will choose two full suits and possibly a few partial suits or accessories. The form is not first come, first serve, but rather, we accept future clients based on the character’s complexity and our ability to bring said character to life.

Step 3: Wait For Contact

Once we have closed our Google form, we take another week to review all submitted forms and choose our two full suit clients and others, if applicable. We gather all the information needed to give an exact quote, including sourcing and costing the materials required to complete the projects. Quotes, excluding shipping and duties, will be sent via email. Once those accepted agree on the commission’s total cost, we will notify the remainder by email that their submissions were not chosen.

Step 4: Down Payment

We require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE down payment to cover the cost of the materials. Once we receive the funds, we will gather materials and begin work on your project.

Step 5: Measurements

We require a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) for all full-body fursuits (padded or not). We have a duct tape dummy tutorial available for your convenience. Mark your DTD where your elbows, waist, hips, and knees are to ensure the accuracy of measurements. Please inform us how you would like your costume to fit. A snug fit will be somewhat restrictive, and a looser fit allows more flexibility but can have wrinkles. You are responsible for completing and mailing out the DTD in a timely manner. We will not be accountable for a poorly fitting costume due to incorrect measurements taken from the dummy. Please put your name on the dummy’s chest; this prevents any mix-ups, as we receive multiple dummies at a time.

Step 6: Creation

Depending upon our queue and the complexity of your project, a fursuit may take 1-6 months to complete. You will be required to approve the fur colour before the build. We will purchase swatches of fur options if needed to ensure a close fit with the character. Keep in mind that some fur colours and/or fur length options are not always available. We will provide the best options available for you to approve for your project. We communicate closely with our clients via Telegram during the building process.

Step 7: Shipping

Shipping fees are calculated at the end of the build to ensure a fair price. Weight, box size, and shipping options all play into the cost. We will provide all shipping options, and the client must agree on which option best suits their needs. The product will be shipped once we receive the FINAL 50% OF THE TOTAL COST AND SHIPPING FEES. Tracking numbers and insurance will be provided. Once the parcel has left Canada, we cannot control when the package arrives. We do not cover any additional customs fees your country may place on the parcel.
